OK this thread is strictly about the ratings on a trail/geocache so you know what your getting into before heading there. Also a great way to separate easy trails from hard trails. OK so the rating will work like this 1* thru 5* those are the levels of the trail/geocache. :D

TRAIL LEVELS 1* TO 5*

1* Easy trail 2wd will make it, basically a maintain road.

2* Easy/med 2wd/4wd required for this trail

3* Med trail 4wd/locker/limited slip is required for this trail

4* Med/hard 4wd/lockers/lifted is required for this trail

5* Hard 4wd/lifted/lockers/big tires is required for this trail

GEOCACHE LEVELS 1* TO 5*

1* Easy, no hiking involved, close to the trail

2* Easy/Med no hiking involved, distance from trail

3* Med Beginner hiking involved, distance from trail

4* Med/Hard Intermediate hiking involved, distance from trail

5* Hard Expert hiking involved, distance from trail

Please remember if your going to hike for geocaches to take your time, wear protective clothing(pants and hiking boots), watch for snakes, and bring lots of water with you. I know there is a few people on here into hiking that's why I went ahead and did a expert one for the people that are more into the challenging hiking. Be safe and have fun. :D

thats pretty good, but what about traction devices. you need them on 4 and 5 sometimes in the high 3's
