It has been a long time since I posted up anything on my Dad. Yesterday we all meet at Red Lobster for my Mother B-Day. It was a day that I will remember for a long time. My Dad walked in the door and to the table with his crutches. He still uses a wheel chair at times and a walker but he is trying to use his crutches more and more. He still does not have any feeling in his left leg from the knee down but everything alse is getting better. He is able to take his self out to his shop where we moved everything around so he would be able to work out their. He is playing around with rocks. I have purchased him some rock tumblers to keep him busy.

He is a very strong man and I am proud very proud of him.

I just want to thank everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers. Like I said in my original post, I do not beleive that he would of made it if we would of gave up.

Here is a link to my original post.

I am glad to hear he is doing good, I just read the original post :(

Sorry it had to happen to him, Hopefully he will gain full function soon, sounds like he has over come the hardest parts...

My thoughts are out to him for a full recovery.

Hey I got rocks! Have Lapidary equipment too. Been selling the stuff, cause I'm trying to find room at my place, sold 2 rock saws, and flat lap still have tumbler, would have sold that to ya cheap! You need some rocks? Come over and get them, I have tons, in fact I buried a couple tons in the back yard bout 6 months ago. I still have Cab set up, saw, grinder wheel, sander wheel and polisher all in 1 machine. I can give you medium that is used in tumblers, they sell it for 3 bucks a small bag, I get it from work for free, all it is, is raw resin, (plastic pellets) also you have the grit that goes in tumbler? I have some you can have. Have books on how to do all this stuff to. I can copy sections from books if you want copies.

So when's he going on a trail run? We could get some of the old folks out and show them a good time. My parents had a blast on the CK run. :)

I think it is going to be a very long time. He still has trouble lifting his legs. He wants to get back out and look for rocks. He was even talking about getting something like a Polaris Ranger.

Now that would be cool. Could probably even set up a swivel seat to make it easier to get in.:)
