So I was thinking, I have never heard of anyone talking about a resource list for people to use, is there one I don't know about???
I know Arizona has a lot of new transplants and/or new Jeep owners, so a list like this could be somewhat of a benefit I guess??
Such as:
Where do you get a soft top fixed = Mendoza's in Glendale
Where can I get a custom Power Steering line made = The Parker Store
Where are the Jeep salvage yards = AMC 4x4 Salvage, etc
Where do I get odd ball bearings = Bearing Belt and Chain
If there is enough interest, I could whip something up.... Name of the business, location, phone number, website if available...
Just a thought.... And please add what resources you would like to see...

Great idea! I've been around the valley quite a while but I would like a resource list none-the-less. Here is a nice little addition: Pep Boys Auto is the only service dept. that I know of that is open until 9pm M-F, 8pm on Sat, and even on Sun 9am-6pm! I have had tires mounted at 8:30p on a Fri and rotors turned at 9:15a mon a Sunday. Very convenient.

Great Idea,
I" ve been hunting around for stuff, it's not that easy to locate specialty places.
Even better, substitue stuff that works just as good but a lot cheaper and where to get such stuff.
Maybe a homemade modification section should be started too. Us XJ owners have a lot of room once we remove the back seat, I'd like to hear what other XJ owners do to modify interiors. For instance: I remove back seat and seatbelts, where the seatbelt was ancord overhead is a sturdy bolt, where I fashioned some loops/hooks to bungie my cargo to. I store my tools under the folded down back seat, and would like to fashion some kind of latch so seat will not come up during a possible roll over. I'd more than likely survive roll, but flying tools might be the end of me.
