It has an AZVJC sticker you can make out on the rear side window. Congrats! I got into 4 Wheel Drive and Sport Utility Mag. in the readers rides, I was very happy. Dec 06. I remember someone on here got on the cover of Petersens a year ago or so at the Average Joe Challenge.

Speaking of the Average Joe Challenge, is there any news on this, as in a repeat? Thanks.

yep, looking at my issue. It is a VJC sticker and looks like a AZ XJ sticker too! Brownish colored XJ and it has "rough country" in white lettering across back hatch door window. don't recognize it, I'll have to look at old run pics I've been on ...see if he was around.

Yep thats the waterfall on Scorpion. That a somewhat nasty obstacle... The left side acts like a can opener on you sheetmetal if you go too far left. I think Lance was the one that knocked his radiator into his fan on that one.

I think that was D-Dub.....but I think Lance bashed a fender on it...what happened to Dave..?

You are right... It was D-Dub... He must have decided to sell his Jeep after that one... I haven't seen him post on the board in a while.

Yeah, since Dave Susko left, I haven't heard from him. I was on the same trip as that, and YES, I "can opened" my sheet metal there.

I remember the night that you did that, towing D-Dub back to the air-down spot. Might be why it took me so long to try Scorpion. Now, the can opener is just rubble.

Yep, that's me all right. My neighbor told me to send in a couple of pictures after I rolled it and rebuilt it.....so that is what I did. I sent some before, during and after shots but they chose to publish the one of the roll......I guess it had more journalistic value
In any case, here are a few that ties it all in together for everyone.
Somehow they didn't load in order.....from left to right it is:
Shortly after roll and rebuild; Crown King run last weekend; Minutes before the roll; minutes after the roll.........
