Anyone here have a Ignition Coil for a Renix system 4.0?
I have a 89 4.0 from a XJ that I think might be my problem for bogging out at higher engine speeds and temps...
I would like to see if anyone here has one I could try out to see if it my problem!!!!
So if any of you have one and are willing to let me borrow it for testing I would appreciate it
the problem I am having is when I rev the engine to 3000RPM it bogges out.. looses power... I have checked/tested/replaced the following
Engine coolant temp sensor for the computer,
CPS, ( crank position sensor )
wiring harness,
distributor,
computer,
new cap and rotors wires and plugs,
tps sensor, ( throttle position sensor )
Map Sensor
I am stumped. So I think it may be the coil... but I dont want to spend 40-60 bucks on one if it isnt the problem.
if you can help me out let me know.
