Okay, since I didn't get a chance to pass out the children's zoo tickets or the AMERICAN FLAG that was flown over my base in Iraq at Crown King; I'm going to do it tonight at the westside meet and greet.
Let me know if you want in NLT (No Later Then) 1700 hours 5 PM for you 100% pure civilians. I will draw the name at the meet and greet. You needn't be present to win. I want to give everyone a chance at this. However, if you're not, we will need to arrange pick-up. I live out by Luke and work at 52nd street and McDowell so.....
As for the zoo tickets, I will be passing them out to the kids (real kids, 2-12 years old, not us over grown ones!) at the meet and greet as well.
See ya tonight.
Okay, it's 5 minutes after 5....I'm leaving at 5:30 so you gotta few more minutes

I would Love to have the Flag, I occasionally ride with the Patriot Guard (http://www.bikernet.com/news/PageViewer.asp?PageID=754) and could use it for that.

I would really like to make the meet and greet, but my wife isn't thrilled about the drive. (Someone needs to call her and invite her.)
And yes, I would be interested in flying the flag at my house.
Thanks,

Um, does being married to a former Marine (Wayco was out before I met him) count me out as qualifying 100% pure civilian?
If not, I want in for the flag!

I have two others that were flown over my base. One which was caught in a nasty sand storm & one that the certificate has my name on it.
All U.S. flags mean a lot to me. These are special to me but I know that there are other good Americans out there that would appreciate one of these as much as I and I have a "spare" so to speak.
I know that this is a good group of people and most support the troops (maybe not the war itself or agree with the politics), and it will mean something to them.
Just trying to spread the wealth is all.

Being married to a FORMER (notice I did not say EX) Marine qualifies you for just about anything.....trust me, I have Marines in my family and many U.S.M.C friends.......
This give away is for Every member of this club, military, civilian, doesn't matter. I only made the 100% pure civilian comment because I used military time and then converted it over to civilian time for those that do not understand the 24 hour clock and only the 12 hour variety.
You're in!!!!

I would love to have it, but I do not want to take the opportunity away from the other members. Ben will bring me back a flag or I'll bring my own back when I go. I just hope not to bring back the flag they present to the next of kin. That is the only flag i never want to get.

Well I will be at the M&G tonight. Although I support our troops to the fullest. I wouldnt feel worthy accepting such a gift. I hope this goes to someone who can truely understand the worth of each fiber of that flag. :)

Being a true American, I believe you can as much as being retired military makes me, I have lost friends and I have seen them go, never to come back...but a lot of people that have never severed have done the same and it is no more or less a loss, the decision is your but worth....I don't think that is an issue

Okay, you have got to be kidding me......I only have 4 people (6 if dcjeeper & amber change their minds) that are interested in this flag?????
I know it's not a locker or diff guard or something Jeep related but dang. I thought that there would be more people interested in it then this.....

I'm really interested, but I don't think it is fair to participate. If you think it is fair, throw me in - I would feel wrong, even though that would be something very special to win.
BTW the husband was finally 'informed' of our plans to drive 60 miles for dinner and for some reason he's up for it! :D

noobie snoobie....I say again....THIS IS FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THE CLUB....there is no restrictions or requirements. I have no preference towards old members, new members, post counts, sex, creed, color (skin or Jeep:) ), height, weight, east valley, west valley, Tucson or anything.
About the only stipulation I would have is; you had better be able to speak English when you get it from me........Okay, so I am a wee bit prejudice...But hey, this is America.....why the h*** do I need to press one for English :confused:
Dang, almost got on my soap box there!!!!
Now I know that I was slow to post it up but I know that there are a lot of people that surf this site while they're at work and stuff so......and hey, call or e-mail some of the ones that you know that may be interested....
STEVE, you're in....
