Good upholstery shop for soft top zipper repair

I know I could find several on yellow pages. com or on google. I want you guys's opinions on where to go that does good work and is cost effective.

Miguel's Upholstery in Gilroy California is REALLY good... I dont know if he is still around last I heard the owner had a heart attack, but his son was also running the shop...


they always did good guy deals for me. I know I know this doesn't help.

But have you thought about a seamstress? maybe a cheaper possibility?

what needs to be done to the zipper?

does a whole new zipper set up need top be sewed on?

if so... I know someone who can do it... but wont be until Mid oct.

or maybe Amy's Brother's mother-n-law can do it too...

As there are more boats in Arizona than Jeeps, I'd be trying a boat top or boat cover(canvas) shop, ask for a sample of their work before making a decision (like look at what work they are doing that day)....

Found this via the online Yellow Pages, looks like a quality shop as they have been in business since the 80's and are still around today (says something about their business practice), but you never know...

Adam - Yes, the entire zipper assembly on one side window and rear window need to be replaced. No biggie but I gotta get it done. You know how sometimes luggage zippers start zipping but they don't close all the teeth together and the teeth come apart like ziplock baggies? That is what it is doing.

They fixed my soft door and if I didn't beat them on the trails, I wouldhave had them put in tinted plastic.

I am thinking of going back for them to do my motorcycle seat as they do those too.
