LOL I was just trying to respond to a thead and it wouldn't post. Jerkfaces. They named themselves appropriately, but spelled it wrong...perhaps it should have been "Prix"

Yeah, but you can always dream.... My AT&T DSL is just as bad as the Cox service, don't feel bad....
Worse the "tech" lines are all manned by George Smith and they have this very unique accent when speaking if you can hear over the static filled phone line to India....

3 TV :D
2 times people do the right thing:
1. When they know the whole world is watching
2. When there is a lot of money involved

I tried Qwest DSL... I knew more about servers and networking than their support people did. It was AMAZINGLY painful to try and get anything done with them.
The one thing I can give Cox credit for is their technical support staff for business connections know what they are doing most of the time.

I agree - business Cox really is different than residential Cox. I've had Biz Cox 5-6 years now (ever since they FINALLY ran a line out here) and only been down once when the Avondale road crew (or their subcontractor, dunno) cut it - and it was back up that day.
I can only think that you are in a bad area Cox wise (ah, err, so to speak) :o

haha DevilMan!! that's funny!!
Joe,
Avnet has a program that leases out floorspace and connection.. might be worth checking out.. The T3 is quick and the service is top notch..
I'll see if I can get you some info..

The fine people at Qwest are the reason that I haven't been able to get online at home the past 2 nights. They did something to the service in my neighborhood and didn't turn about 4 or 5 of us back on. Generally I don't have any problems, but when I hear them tell me to just keep trying one night and then tell me the next night "Oh, we're sorry there are a handfull of you in that area that were not re-connected after the outage" makes me really proud of being a customer.
