Well durring my job searches I found that Freeway Chevrolet was hiring,
they were looking for Diesel techs. and Well I am Gm certified Diesel tech..
I went in for a interview 2 weeks ago.. I thought it went good.. well he never called me. I called him 3 times, and left messages. Still nothing..
Well while all of that I was looking and interviewing and being picky on the job I take,
Well I took a job, its awesome so far, great group of people and a fun happy environment.
Well today just 1.5 hours ago I get a call.. its the Service Director at Freeway Chevrolet. He said he wants to hire me and start tomorrow :eek::eek:
Well, I said I am sorry, but because you never got back to me and didn't return my phones calls I figured I wasn't what you were looking for, so I took a position at another shop... Then he has the balls to ask me where..
I told him I am working at a reputable shop... and said I am sorry that you procrastinated to return my calls....
He went silent and sounded sad he missed the opportunity to hire someone who is FACTORY TRAINED DURAMAX 6.6L DIESEL TECH.
I wish he would have called me sooner because I would have loved to work at that dealer ship, it has a bran-spankin-new service facility with new state of the art equipment.
Ohh well his loss...:p
