I was wondering if there was anyone out there who could help me replace/fix the ignition switch on a 95 cavalier.
There is a story here.
An elderly neighbor of mine took a fall about a year ago & almost died.
He has been in a care facility ever since.
His car is parked in his driveway & some POS stole the battery and broke off the ends of the cables. Well I got the ends fixed, put the battery in & proceeded to TRY to put the key in the ignition. The key only went in half way. Either the 1st POS unsuccessfully tried to steal the car or another DUMBER POS tried but did not notice the courtesy lights in the car weren't on.
I am trying to get it across the street & a few houses down to my house where I can store it. The guy is going to sign it over to me in order to get it registered & insured. (Providing we can locate the title :))
I lost my job a few weeks back, can't get the guy's car fixed, rolled my jeep, but things COULD be worse ;) all this could be contagious
If there is anybody who could help me out with this car it would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Steve
