LAST SUNDAY MORNING THE TACO TOYS NEVER SHOWED
SO I WENT INTO UPPER SMASHER FOUND A SHADE TREE FOR THE YJ AND TOOK A WALK UP UPPER SMASHER.
WOW:cool:
I GUESS THIS IS HOW IT ALL STARTS. I COULD MAKE THIS IF ONLY I HAD 37's. I COULD MAKE THAT IF I HAD D44's. SO MONDAY I'M AT A NEW TRANY SHOP IN COTTONWOOD LOOKING INTO A RE BUILDING MY T-CASE TO A 4:1.
THIS STUFF IS ADDICTING.
SOMEONE TOLD ME ABOUT THE LAST WATERFALL IN SMASHER AND HOW THE ONLY THING THAT KEPT HIM FROM GOING OVER BACKWARDS IN HIS CJ WAS HIS OVER SIZE SPARE MOUNTED HIGH ON THE REAR. I'M THINK RUBBER BOOTS AND ROLLED CUFFS ON THIS:D
BUT WHEN I GET THERE I SEE WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT.

AT LEAST IT WAS IN THE SHADE:rolleyes:

Is there an "out" road up the wash a ways? Looks like fun.

Done it on 32's. Just need to pick the right lines. That last waterfall under the tree is notorious for stacked rocks. Someone put some 200+lb ones in there from up above. We used a strap and winched them out about 30 feet or so along with the smaller rocks. If you happen to do this trail please don't stack rocks and leave them. There is a nice cottonwood tree up above for a winch anchor.
