Just sitting here, going through some old pics and came across a few of my old friend. Hope Roger is wheeling up there, finding us some good, hard trails. He is pobably shaking his head at what I have done to my Jeep.:o

Roger was always good for a laugh, lots of knowledge that he always shared, and could fix anything before you could blink. He has left a big void in our runs for sure. I watched his rig grow up from a little over stock to the monster he built. RIP Roger.

Ive been thinking of him lately too...last run thru FJ I had him in my thoughts, and when I ran Mart Canyon with him. Great guy...

I know what you mean Lance, even though he has been gone for almost 5 months now, I still expect to hear his laugh while airing down, or stopping along the trail for a break, or seeing the Frankenjeep rolling down the road.

I wish that I would have been able to meet Roger, not just talk to him online. But that is the nice thing about a great person. They live on in everybody they meet.

I remember you guys running down to Tucson shortly after I joined the club. Do you guys stay in touch with his family(wife?), to see how she is getting along? Seems you guys cared about him very much, if you guys decide to have an memorial run I will surely be there. The last pictures in this post show him with a dog. His doggie?

We had a memorial run in Tucson shortly after his death, maybe we can have another on Martinez when it cools off.
The dog belongs to a buddy of mine.

Martinez would be a good run. Hope I can make that one, since I had to work and counldn't get the time off for the first memorial run.
On a another note, Tucson Off-Road has adopted Forest Service roads 4405 and 4405A, the trail that leads to Chivo Falls and the lower long loop in the momory of Roger, now just waiting on the weather to cool down a little before getting out there and placing the signs and to start on the maintenance of the trails. Good chance that either myself or GEORGIA will post up when that is going to take place.

I never got to meet him other than on here. Still, I think about
him a lot when I am wheeling. Some of the guys I know wanted
stickers, but never got them them. Who was/is in charge of that?
I still run across some of his post when doing searches for info. Kinda nice to do that.:)

I remember when we first started going it was hard to get him to try a couple of the easier obsticles, towards the end you needed to beat him with a stick to keep from doing something wild and crazy. If anyone has some pictures of Roger himself if you could post that would be great. I was talking to his son and I guess like all of us not too many pictures of dad cause he's the one taking the pictures. So if you have any please post and I'll let Rob know that they are here. Thanks

Hi Everyone,
LOWTECH (Roger) is my Dad. A couple of those pics of him really stand out as just "perfectly Roger" Great to see them, thank you ! As Lonnie pointed out, we dont really have that many pictures of Roger as he was usually the one behind the camera.
I am really glad to hear that the TOR club was able to get the trails adopted, that really means alot to us as we are sure Roger would be humbled (in a good way)
The family is gaining traction again, moving in new directions. We still miss Roger very much. :(
The Memorial run for Roger was really great and those of my family that were able to make it truly appreciated seeing everyone out there, and especially seeing everyone have a great time. Thank you again. Looking forward to seeing the TOR clubs efforts when the weather is more permissive.
I have a few CD's of pics of Frankenjeep from several years ago, I will try to post a couple later, for a little bit of fun to add to this thread.
