I'm in Chandler and have a lincoln 110V, if you want to come over and use it. How thick are the brackets?

The other option Kyle is Phoenix Welding rents Miller... I'm not positive if the one in Mesa rents it or not... but you're more than welcome to come over.
If you want to borrow my REady Welder you can borrow that... The MM210 is just too big/heavy/expensive to move. ;)

I have trailer tie downs that will be easiest of the jobs. I have to replace both rear lower control arm brackets, and upper left. Both front lower control arm brackets need skids installed, and upper rh needs to be replaced. That will be a lot of work that is why I was wanting to rent one I have acess to 110 welder just dont know if it will have enough penetration. Maybe I will remove all of them and tack new ones on then do finish welding with 220 welder.

I will call phx weld supply. The other ones just rented small buz boxes for like fence repair and stuff like that. The MM210 is the one I am saving for I dont think I will move mine when I get it either.
Thanks

If you can tack them on and trailer it over here you're welcome to use my welder. The other option is to borrow my Ready Welder which with two batteries will have no problem penetrating up to 1/2" single pass. It's just a bit harder to make it look as pretty as my Miller.

I have a 220 Lincoln Stick Welder and a 110 (the hottest one lincoln makes 3200 series I think) portable with or without gas. You can borrow either as we don't use them very often.

Well I called phx weld supply, and it is $75 a day to rent mm210. They just want $1400 as deposit. I think I am going to go that route. It will give me some motivation to save more money to buy my own. I was wanting someting easier to get out of the truck, but I think it will be worth it. I just need to order all the parts and go to town.

HERTZ --- but you don't want to pay their prices. For a lincoln or miller 200 amp welder, you have 361.00 a month (I know this from my work on the border mission hertz equipment)....we get 300/400 amps for the 200 amp price.

It's a great welder. You will definitely be pleased with the way it welds. If you need a dryer plug extension cord I made one you can borrow if you'd like.

Wow, didn't realize the 212 came out. I know there was talk of them changing it a bit. So it looks like they changed the chassis a bit and it says something about easy load cylinders... any other cool features? It's always interesting when a manufacturer updates an icon such as the MM210, Jeep, etc. I know some guys in a few fabrication forums were up in arms about Miller possibly swapping to the digital display and continually variable voltate of the 251 citing the 251 not having quite the puddle wetting as the 210 and having a harsher arc.

Don't they only do the 140 and 187 now? I was looking and didn't see the 175.
I'm looking to pick one up, possibly even used, but where did you find that one?

I found used mm250 that I almost bought. I realized for couple hundred dollars more I could have mm212 with warranty, and mm212 wil be more than I need. I like the digital display, but dont think that will help me weld. I thought it was more cool factor than anything. The insides are the same as 212 and 210. The easy load thing is just they lowered the machine in back to only one inch off ground for easy install of bottle. They split handle so ground and gun can be wrapped tangle free. They angled the drive rollers for wire feed, and they addd compartment for stuff and weld setting chart. I am pretty excited too bad I have to wait for it to be shipped. I just need to get some wire and cover and I will be set.

Good thing you didn't go with the 250. The 251 is a far superior machine to the 250. The 250 in some peoples eyes is actually a blunder for Miller. It supposedly doesn't have nearly the welding characteristics of the 251 that replaced it. I was originally going to pick up a 250 but after spending a few months in Millers forum, Hobart's forum (a good percentage of the members here own actual Millers), and a offroad fabrication forum I steered clear of the 250. Like you I found the 210 (or in your case the 212) to be roughly the same price. I even thought about buying the 251 but chose the 210 for pretty much two reasons.... 1) The weld characteristics of the 210 or pretty much legendary. Even better than the 251. You can't find any negative reviews of the 210. Even owners of Lincoln and other manufacturers can't bad mouth them. 2) If I need to weld thicker than 3/8 single pass I'll dust off the stick welder (the 251 will do 1/2 single pass) as I'm of the opinion that MIG is for up to 3/8 and that stick is a superior process for anything thicker.... oh yeah, the 251 is a lot more expensive. :)
Dang I really like my welder. This thread is making me want to go home and burn some metal. :)
