I don't have the receipt anymore - does that matter - I figured w/o the receipt I was pretty much SOL on it.:(

It's a shot in the dark... Up plug the power cable from the back of the printer (not the wall) and hold the power button first for 30 seconds and release. Press and release the power button a few times. Plug the power back into the printer and try the power button again.

I would stick a meter on the end of the power cord that goes into the printer. Take a look at the power supply and take note of the voltage (probably 12-18v DC). Set your meter to this and see if it's putting any power out. These things die from time to time and can be replaced with a universal power supply very cheaply.

Or you can see if Walmart carries them and tell them you bought it from them. 9 times out of 10 Walmart usually lets you return the items without a receipt, just make sure you make up some lame story that you got it for a birthday present about a week ago and that you would like to switch it out.

This came from target............I'll try the troubleshooting tips and then if they don't work, try lexmark cust service, then try target and wal-mart. :) thanks

Can't - wish I could.....having to conserve gas this week. The loan lady popped this last minute huge appraisal fee on us that had to be paid right away before the escrow closing began on the house....poor for a week.
Anyway, you fix anymore computer stuff for us and I'm gonna have to put you on payroll. I still have yet to do the troubleshooting - had to cook and be little hostess for Ben and his Grampa then clean up after....now that I'm back from my 1950's timewarp, I'm too tired and will tackle the printer (perhaps literally) tomorrow. :D
