Mesa here, Alma School and Baseline. Rained hard for at least 45 minutes, lightning, thunder, blowin' dust and my wind chimes going bonkers out back. Arizona Moonson weather at its finest.

Hard to believe, but it actually made it across the heat bubble and hit Goodyear at 1:20 am! Had a lightning strike wake us up and .12 in the rain gauge. If anyone is interested, we have a personal weather station that you can see here:

Dry in Surprise last night. I was out doing yardwork past dark thirty.

Thomas and Power Roads....Pretty severe dust storm last night at ~10PM. We lost power for a little over an hour, then had some rain for about 30 minutes. Enough to wet the ground. And combined was more than enough to make a big time mess out of my pool.

Ray and rural got some rain around 11pm not sure on how long it lasted because I went to sleep :( but I did notice that the power went out, I am just glad that I still woke up in time to notice my alarm was not going to assist me this morning lol.

We got some rain in North Scottsdale last night... I heard it hitting the window (I was sleeping, but woke up just enough to acknowledge that it was raining)

My vehicle was polka dotted with dirt when I went out side this morning.

It came down hard in Tempe last night. The thunder and light show was amazing. Oh and we lost power for about a min or so. :)

i was coming outta las sendas last night on power and thomas and was in a hurry too make that light never knew how bad MTR'S didnt grip on wet road until the back of the jeep kicked out and spun me around in the intersection.. Talk about a scare with having no doors!

i was coming outta las sendas last night on power and thomas and was in a hurry too make that light never knew how bad MTR'S didnt grip on wet road until the back of the jeep kicked out and spun me around in the intersection.. Talk about a scare with having no doors!

:eek: Yeah, MTRs suck big time when they are wet. I almost found out the hard way once my self! Glad you stayed paint side up.

Man, you all got to see the show and I was so wiped out from my trip that I slept through it! :(

It poured on us at the station, Fire Station 2 at alma and warner. I even had someone pull out in front of me on the way to a call. Very scary thinking your gonna plow someone because they were dumb/impatient. It is had enough to stop an engine on dry roads when these people pull out! Sure enough I am gonna plow them before I put my crew/other traffic at risk trying to swerve the truck! Shheeeeesh!

I love rain like that....but not driving in it in a hurry. I grew up in the area you work...how funny.
