Yeah, maybe on the east side. West side it is just hot and muggy. Hope the rain makes it over here. Want to drive to work in the morning in the rain. Only have the safari top on.:D

the monsoon is considered to have started when we have three consecutive days when the dew point averages 55 degrees or higher. The 55 degree threshold should be viewed as a guideline for the beginning of the monsoon...and not a hard and fast rule.
Until I hear Bill Kelly say its official, its not official. :p

I was fine here until about 10. The rain was coming from the south and east and only getting the passenger seat wet. :D Then it switched from the west and I might just have a small case of swamp as on the drive in tomorrow. :D
Storms were nice though. Still raining a bit in the tukes right now.

Dust storms are part of the "Monsoon". If you have access to satellite maps, watch for moisture coming North from the baja. That is the first indicator. When the dew point and humidity increase, temp's decrease (slightly) these are also indicators that the monsoon is approaching. Even when it is here, (officially) Rain may hit your house and miss your neighbor's.

looks like the other side of the vally is getting it. not a lightshow like last night but saw it building with cruising down camel back trying to track down an elusive DQ that the hubby thought he saw earlier.
