Subject: Mud Springs - this Sat.
Several have expressed interest for this Saturday. This is a class 4
trail...actually, the first half is class 3 to Mud Spring...then there's
a class 4 hill, and the rest of the trail is likely class 4.
Modified Jeep required, at least after the spring.
Time: This Sat...suggest 9a.
Location: SR87 bout 8.3 mi north of Four Peaks Road, just after Sycamore
Bridge (signed). Trail is on the right hand (east) side of the road,
exactly opposite the turn off for Log Corral (for those that did this).
Make the turn off, and go over the spillway and there's a flat spot on
the other side that's good for disconnecting and airing down.
If your interested in going, please shoot a note, so we can have a head
count.
For those that want to head out this Sat. but don't have a modified
vehicle, or don't want to do the class 4 stuff, the first half of the
trail is do-able, but good tires would be required, since there are some
stair steps and challenging class 3 stuff.

My next door neighbor just stopped by and gave me a lecture about
SB1208. A bill which is currently going through the Arizona Legislature.
The bill calls for noise limits at shooting ranges. The intention behind
