These words uttered today in court from 'famous for being famous', Paris Hilton as the Judge sent her butt back to jail:D :D

Personally I think her sentence should be reduced to only 14 days, just 2 weeks in Sheriff Joe's tent city wearing pink boxer shorts.

In life most of us have had experiences that are life changing at the moment it happens. I have had several as I have traveled the long road I have been on. One stands out in my memory: The moment in 1967 that I stepped off the plane in Cam Rah Bay, Vietnam and the sweltering heat with the stench of war and death hit me. That moment as I stood on the planes stairway looking across the tarmac is burned in my memory as if were yesterday.

I think Ms Hilton needs a gut wrenching life changing experience like that and Sheriff Joe's tent city would most likely provide such. It just might alter her life. I suspect that Lindsay and Brittany might also benefit:rolleyes:

yeah, I believe he even offered space in one of our luxurious 4 star prisons in the case california was overcrowded....You know, I can't say I pity her one iota.....I can just hear her now "this is so not hot"

LOL - well, you would first have to find a brain donor so that she could experience the same intelligence as the rest of us...then you'd have to send her through severe retraining and I don't even know if that would fix her....I think she's a lost cause....just lump her in with Shannon Doherty and all of the other retards out there in the celebrity world, and cut sling load.

In her defense: She comes from a family that reportedly is worth a Billion bucks. However the only Hilton on the Forbes list is her grandfather [Forbes #374 William Barron Hilton] at $1.0B even. Nonetheless she has a bundle of cash herself.

Paris is a high school dropout who came from a sheltered lifestyle to say the least.

Sadly she has many many years ahead of her and life can be a long and winding road. Those parents who fail to prepare their children have truly failed them and in the case Paris has been let down by mom and dad in spades. Worse yet Paris doesn't appear to have the moxie or is in a position to gain street smarts that will insure her her life is a happy one.

If I had to make a call, I suspect that we will be reading about Paris for many years to come and as time goes by the tabloid blurbs will only go downhill from where they are now.


On another note: The Sheriff that let her out of jail after only a few days...me wonders if he has a bank account under a different name somewhere????? If you will bet donuts, I will bet dollars he does.

The LEO community is full of great, good, bad and ugly LEOs. Most will put in a lifetime of service and hope to retire with enough money coming in that a part-time job will keep them going till SS kicks in. But there are a few that retire to a life style you and I would envy. There are a few out here in multi-million $ homes and they are driving a stable of MBs. In fact I know a couple of them. And how you buy a $7M buck home on a $30 a year retirement amazes me :confused:

It just shows that she is just one very spoiled rich chick, and if things don't go her way she goes and cries to her mommy to make things all better. Too bad, this time it's not gonna work and she has to face the fact that you can't buy your way out of a situation that you don't want to be in. I agree, but for her to be such a whore to the media - well, hell - that may be a result of mommy and daddy not giving her attention either...but we don't see her sister nicky doing all of this....we really cannot blame all of this on her parents, although when looking at her mom, yoou can see where she gets it a little.

As far as the sheriff.....I really support LEO/LEAs but I suspect perhaps it wasn't money and maybe Paris played/preyed on his heartstrings with her antics and dramatic appearance.....maybe she did him a favor...maybe she didn't...maybe her family is pushing hard for her behind the scenes....who knows...either way she is back where she belongs...

You know, my parents didn't prepare me for anything real life after leaving their home....they bought me 5 cars (my first one I didn't like so they got me a truck instead), I didn't fold a load of laundry or clean or help with dishes/dinner etc until I was 19 and moved out....If she's using that excuse or if people pity her for that reason, I disagree. Even if kids are spoiled, they still know the difference between right and wrong and the consequences. I think she's just a manipulative whore.

Could it be that Paris is being treated differently? The judge could be treating her more harshly than if she was a normal kid in the same jam in California. I don't know, but I have a feeling this one is going to eventually be settled either in court or mediated with California paying out some very big bucks to one little blonde.
One other thing that amazes me is the number of people that say they hate her, can't stand her, don't care and never watch her. Yet her TV shows are hits, her home made porn movies are hits, magazines with stories about her can not stay on the shelves, and all of the news and talk shows are totally dominated by this recent story. Who are these mystery millions watching her???
I'll be honest...I watch The Simple life because I find the show funny as hell. (But then again...I'm a middle aged, middle class white guy that thought Chappell and Snoops TV shows were some of the funniest comedy to come along in years). Back to Paris.... She has done a masterful job of marketing herself. I mean here is a very young girl with basically no talent (at least on the on the surface)...she can't sing or dance for instance, yet she has managed to snag a substantial portion of this planets human attention and focus it on herself to the tune of tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars. So much for mooching off from mom and dad.
Paris Hilton is a brand, and is as identifiable today as Coke or Marlboro.
I can guarantee you can go to slums of Manila or the thrones of Saudi Arabia and to a person, they can all pick Paris Hilton out of photo line up and will know something about her.
I also think it highly likely that at least part if not all of the drama and suspense that has been wrung out in the worldwide press this week...was brought about by her team and plays directly into the Paris Hilton machine.

Your are correct to some extent. However the question may be, did PH do this on her own or was she just part of the Brittany, Lindsay and who ever else was part of the self destruction crowd. All of which have gone down in flames except her and now its her time on the grill.

This might be why so many folks are watching as they and a few others are swinging in the wind.

The real question is does she have staying power? I doubt it! She is a no talent, famous for being famous whose only ability is to run a continual brush with the law, drugs, sex and whatever is due to befall her and that crowd next.

She supposedly had to be let out of jail due to a med problem of which no one is saying what it is. But keeping a lid on this kind of stuff is not easy and the leaks have it she broke out in a severe case of genital herpes caused by the stress of jail.

So what is her 'hook' to stay around? I don't think there is one and when she gets a bit older and we tire of seeing her crotch as she gets out of a car what does she do for an encore (this applies to the rest of them also). She is not a looker so pretty is not going to carry the day for her.

I suspect she better make some money while she can 'cause her 15 min of fame on the clock is ticking on borrowed time.
