paul (office manager): that ad belongs to Linda
sales rep: ohhhhh, that's Linda's

me emailing back: artwork is very low-res, do they have a better version
email from sales rep: (same email, re-forwarded) is it better now

sales rep: did you get that ad done
me: what ad? I don't have any ad copy in here for you
sales rep: I emailed you
me: I never got an email, can you resend it
sales rep: but I sent it to you
me: ok, but I don't have it, can you resend it

sales rep: (stares at me blankly for about 2 minutes)

sales rep: did you get that ad from that guy
me: yes

same sales rep 10 minutes later: do you have a box
me: what?

This is why i have headphones on with a boom mic next to my mouth. People think im on the phone or a skype call when they walk by. Though i just have it playing my itunes :D

I have found going out and driving around for 30min or whatever is a good way to blow off steam.

Wow.......although I can't say my day was much better in some aspects....

I mentioned I would not be attending the baseball game they got free tickets to as you can't bring guests.

LOL I don't think you could take it. I have to hear these air guard guys bragging all day about how bad A. the air guard is...hmmmmmmm I guess it is a pretty cool feat to get to stay in the raddison instead of a tent....

lol only met one guy in a bar and didn't go home with him....probably shouldn't have married him 9 months later either :eek: ...Young dumb and full of ###..but at least I have a wonderful boy...it must skip generations on his dad's side!

I deal with people like this aswell all the time,,,


our Parts department is well HORRIBLE....

they cant seem to get the right parts the first time.. so I get on the parts computer... look up what I need... bill it to the RO ( repair order )
grab part, fix car. if the part isnt available.. I order next day...

its just faster and easier.. and the parts manager said you want a job... I said yeah.... you have 100K a year to pay me... he said no.. then I said nope... got a job that pays me close to 80K a year thanks anyhow..
