State Trust Lands Fire Restrictions

Didn't see this posted anywhere else.

Went down to the State Land Department today and found a News Release dated May 21, 2007.

It said in part that the Office of the State Forester implemented fire and smoking restrictions on Wednesday, May 23rd, applying to all State Trust Lands within Gila, La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, Pinal, Yavapai and Yuma Counties.

These restrictions will remain in effect through July 31, 2007 or until further notice.

I cant tell by the site it has listed there if the Hussayumpa north of Wickenburg is STL or BLM or Forest....specifically BOX canyone of the Hussayumpa...


I need to know if open fires are prohibited there...anyone know specifically what land it is just past The Box...?? Then I can find out if open fire isnt allowed

Yeah...I got that from the BLM site last night...kinda kills my plans for Sunday eve in the Hussy river bottom..:(
