Yesterday I ordered my Crusher Corners from 4WP and had to drive to the warehouse in Phoenix to pick them up. I get there to will call and the warehouse monkeys are less than polite or helpful. So I get the corners put in the Tahoe and realize I don’t see any hardware so I start fishing around in the bubble wrap to see if I can feel the hardware in there somewhere; no luck. I tried to ask the monkey helping me but he took off as fast as the parts were on my bumper and was nowhere to be found. Now I ask one of the other chimps who doesn’t know @#$% and tells me to go into the store and talk to them which I do and they tell me the bolts should be in the mess of bubble wrap somewhere. I take their word and go home (my mistake). Now at home for a while I decide to open the bubble wrap and look for the hardware which of course IS NOT THERE. I call 4WP and talk to someone and tell them that I just bought these and the hardware isn’t with them; they ask me: Are they supposed to come with hardware? (do ya think) I was told to call Poison Spyder and make sure the hardware is supposed to come with; I did and had to call 4WP back again and tell them that I was supposed to get hardware. The hardware is now supposedly on its way from Poison Spyder to 4WP and then on its way to me. This is the 3rd time 4WP has F’d up my one of my orders. I have only ordered from them 4 times in my life and 3 of them have been a hassle. 1st time was shocks that were ordered online and took longer than they were supposed to to get here (not that big of a deal). 2nd my wife goes in to the store and gets me a safari top which I find out 4 months later when I want to use it that it’s for the drill in windshield channel not the bolt on I have (returned for the right top). 3rd I ordered tires, wheels and a lift. The tires and wheels were fine but the lift was for the wrong year (they somehow have my Jeep in their system 3 times with different info?). It takes 3 times shipping back and forth to get the right kit and has taken 2 months. 4th time is now with the corners and I have to tell ya I must need my head examined for ordering with them but I only use them because they will price match which seems to be at a serious headache expense and waiting time. Be Warned If You Shop Here!:mad:

Price match is great- but at what cost? Extra driving time and gas, aggravation, you don't have the stuff when you want it, and they don't care. I say deal with the guys who want your business and will work with you!!!!! I've had fantastic luck with 4wheelers and DeserFab.

I love 4WP!!! I used to order from the internet or mail-order and Have had 0 problems, I had them install my BL and MM on my LJ 2 years ago. Their prices on wheel/tires are near impossible to beat I have ordered 4 sets in the last 10 years and no problems. Sorry to hear about your misfortune....

Buy used parts from a member here on the site, they will even meet you halfway to the destination, and the price is always right! And often times, you can get different stuff from them every so often as they upgrade their junk.;) They might even sit around and shoot the bull with you, while their wife is waiting at home, calling and bugging them to come home.:D

It always seems that there are some good deals to pick up from other members. You got to start somewhere and then they always progress. Hopefully that cycle will end soon!! Lance you have anything you think you can sell me that I need? :)

I have a Smittybilt 3" tube bumper that’s been modified a little. I cut the ends off a lot closer to the frame. I can send you a pic tomorrow. It has KC style lights on it that I will let go with it. It's on my jeep in my avatar.

Hey what a project. Start with a lifted locked radical CJ and turn it into a bone stock TJ. Now that would get people scratching their heads :)

Sweet, do you think the sway bar will work? I have been looking for something like that!! I am starting to look for 40's but that will be in the very distant future, I need to work on getting it wheelable again. :D

i've had that same problem w/ some of our local shops. there's no respect for the customer and they never have what you want or care for what you need. that's why i just order everything off of Quadratec.com. Simple and they usually have reasonable prices.

I had good luck from 4wp, but I always used the same salesperson!!! That makes a difference although it should not. That salesperson quit months ago and I stoped using them, all the other people were jaskasses.
4wheelers is awesome, you can go on a Sunday with your puppy, have the puppy accidently pee on store carpet, and Cole won't even get mad:D:D:D

If the service sucked the first time, why would you think it would be better while you are looking at them thru the microscope? I never go back to a business that has wronged me.
When I go out to eat and things go south I am always offered a free meal next time I come in. I always decline and tell them "if it sucked while I am paying for it, why would it be better if it is free"?
Life is to short to run around all pissed off. I know of a Poison Spyder reseller on east Washington that has always treated me right.;)
Good service is always worth a little more gas money.

I have used 4WP in Mesa a lot and have had great luck with them, but I also have had great luck with 4 Wheelers and Desert Fab, Dave has helped several times and always is great to talk to
I recently bought something at 4WP and made the "mistake" of walking into their shop area. I was promptly told that was a no-no (not by the guys in the shop but by a counter guy) and then escorted out. That has never happened to me at 4 Wheelers Supply. I can walk into their shop area and talk to the installers and mechanics if I want to and it's no big. Once they even let me back into the shop area and use their tools to take something off my Jeep (driveshaft, I think it was).
I don't know what Desert Fab's policy is (never been there).
Things like that are what make me prefer one business over another.

Quadratec = $120 + shipping
4Wheelers = $87 + gas
I bought a spare :)

I'm not allowed in Desert Fab's shop.
Not because of them but because of my wife :( She says I spend too much time gabbing and too much money there.
Oh by the way, are my basket parts done? :)

If you own/run a shop, and want to get some respect around here, you should get a small business sponsonship here. Otherwise, you are gonna get hammered for soliciting services without ponying up.
