I am new to your site and am very excited about the idea of taking the wife and kids and wheelin' with the group. I have a 1988 grand wagoneer that is stock except for the flowmaster, 33's and a lift. Love the GW because the whole crew fits in comfort.
I have been battling a tranny leak for some time and would appreciate any help that I could get. I have replaced the pan seal several times convinced that the cork was failing. Last time, I replaced the seal with a rubber gasket. I have verified that the pan is not warped. Since replacing the gasket, the jeep has only been driven about 3 miles. The tranny fluid is back in the drip catcher and I am confident that it is not comming from the pan. The leak drips from the cross member. About 1 pint so far. Please help. Can't take much of a road trip like this!
