AZOHVC UPDATE

At this time the organization is pretty much built. The corporation papers are being filed. The bylaws are complete and ready to be submitted to the general membership at the next meeting.
Now the fun starts as we get this thing working for all of us in the OHV community. The next meeting will be some time in Feb from what I have seen so far. This will be open to all that are interested.
To those that have not been aware this was being built, it is an umbrella organization for all groups in the OHV community. This will include dealers, supply houses, fab shop along with all the clubs and members of anyone into an OHV be it a motorcycle, quad, or 4 wheel drive.
This will give us a larger voice in the state and with the agencies. I think it is a big step forward. I will keep everyone up to date in this forum.

The AzOHVC By-Laws have the quarterly meetings scheduled the months prior to the ASA4WDC quarterly meetings. This potential conflict was recognized when writing the by-laws.

The normal "Annual Meeting" will be in January each year but because we're a bit behind with getting the incorporation complete this first general meeting will slide into Feb. this this one time.

I know most members of the AzVJC have a problem with "dues" but I'd ask the members consider the option of dues for the AzOHVC each year. This gives you voice and votes as to what happens................ both recreational and legal ............ regarding OHV in Arizona.

This could be done by an annual fund raiser or simply donations....... hopefully everyone will think about it. AzVJC is certainly a "power" within Arizona and deserve a voice and vote. If we don't have the "numbers" we're eventually going to lose much more than we'd like.....................

Bob you have some great ideas there. I do not do that many AZVJC runs as most the time I run with the the AZ RockRats. We would need someone that does a lot of AZVJC runs to head this up. Hint Hint Hint:D
