I'm back in town and I gotta a fever, and it need more cow bell. If that doesn't work a quick east valley run would be good.
What I'm thinking is a quick Sunflower mine loop. No sight seeing, just wheeling, maybe a few side trails. I just gotta get out and stretch the legs a little.

Come on I know I'm not the only bum with the day off ;)
I'm not stuck on Sunflower, just a suggestion. I gotta get out and wheel!

if your up for it I could run up past the cabin or maybe box canyon and maybe some side trails jackhandle/upper woodpecker, never ran them but have been told I should be ok

Sounds like cottonwood canyon road at 0800 ish. I'm leaving Chevron at Goldfield and US 60 at around 0730
Anyone else interested, sounds like FJ is the destination.

Well Box Canyon ended up being our destination today. Met a nice guy named Kevin. The 2 of us started up the canyon off Price road. Not long into the ride I discovered I didn't bring a camara. Kevin didn't either so I was reduced to using my phone to take pics. I hade 2 of Kevin's rig but there was too much glare to see anything.
carnage was at a minumum. Kevin lost part of his cross member/transfer case gaurd. I tore my sidewalls and bent my rims on Woodpecker I think. Not really sure what the trail was but I tried going through the narrow section and decided not to go all the way. I slid off my line and found out you cannot put a jeep in a quad sized hole!
For a new jeeper, Keving did a great job and even did very well spotting me on a few tough lines.
I'm liking the new shocks.

This is the line on that one. :D Even I stayed on line after doing one of our "camping trips" getting in 2 hours before hitting the trail. :p

I think I was too far left and the top was gonna hit. I was gonna back out and try going farther right but while backing out I slipped off the rock and got stuck.
