...yes I need help:D

We have a new guy at work and on the side him and a team build custom bikes(TSUNAMIBIKES.COM). I would like to get a custom frame. They ARE professionally hand built, fitted and built according to your riding style, ride terrain, components it will have, even painted like you want(thinking chilipepperred:D) etc....the whole 18 yards. I can get a custom frame, 7000series, for about the same price as this titanium frame on Craigslist. (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/321346511.html)

I'm undecided, 19" is about my size, ti frame or a fully decked out custom alu frame:cool:
'TUFF CHOICE.

Anyone have experience with either of these?

29er!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll never look back!

The Litespeed's are nice but unless you have a real high inseam (like 32+ inches) you'll be busting your boys a lot on a 19". If you have the chance to get a custom frame, DO IT. Now if you can talk them into building you a 29er, you'll completely rediscover biking.

I need a race bike. How will the 29er help? From what I heard their wheels are more flexible but less rolling resistance.

Ride one....

Granted, they are ever so slightly slower on the get-go, but they maintain more speed, longer than a 26er does. You remember physics? An object in motion tends to stay in motion. The larger wheel, having slighly more mass but significantly more inertia will roll longer than a 26er given the same amount of force applied. Now think like a Jeep, a larger wheel will climb OVER a rock, while a smaller wheel will climb UP the same rock. The same thing applies here.

Go ride one, you can even use my 29er singlespeed to get a taste if you want.

Get yourself some tube, an Oxy Ace outfit (for brazing) and build your own.
