OK, we have the bill back for a second attempt to pass the Senate (rehearing floor third read).
As soon as it is scheduled for a floor vote we will get that out for you.
So what now??? Well, first thing is to back off on the emails and phone calls for now.
This is one of those things that you have to go talk to Senators to see if they got the message and are tired of gettting picked on or bugged. THIS is that time. SO , for now, back off on the emails and calls.
As soon as a date is set , we will ask you to send one more round of emails and phone calls.
Other wise , we think we are as best as we are going to get.............we are very close or right at enough votes to get this passed............but the longer it takes to be heard , the longer folks have to change their minds .........so nothing is a for certain.
FYI.........over 1400 bills were introduce this session, so far 143 have been passed. Most never get out of the House or Senate where there were originated, let alone as far as we have gotten. It is a credit to all of you for keeping a positive united voice on this Bill. Without your letters and calls, no one would have taken OHV seriously...........................So pat yourself on the back ............good job.....sofar.
Also , take a minute to think about the other groups who are writing and calling on our behalf :

ORBA
AZ Sportsmen assoc.
Elk Hunters Society
Mountain Bike Assoc. of AZ
Horsemen assoc
Cattlemen Assoc.
Law enforcement groups
Hiking Clubs
County Supervisors
and many more .............all are with us on this bill..........folks that usually wont talk to each other have come together on one issue ............help mange OHV use and make it available for the forseeable future.
Not to bad for one bill to do all that................................And if nothing else is accomplished , this Bill has shown just how important managed OHV use is to the Whole State.
One last thing ................Send Representitive Jerry Weiers a big THANK YOU Email .....tell him just how much you appreciate all his hard work and efforts to keep this Bill Alive! This guy is what we wish all our Legislators were like.
