Does anyone have experience with these? Im thinking about a quad but want a well rounded one. From what I have read this seems like it would do the trick. light enough and quick enough (for the dunes perhaps) but 4x4 for the rocks, etc. I know it doesnt have lockers but seems like a good well rounded play quad.

anyone know either way?

If your into that caliber of quad the Wolverine or Grizzly are great quads, Sportsman 800 is also a great quad, consider your price range and user options, but if you have a Raptor in the back of your mind then you will not have much fun on a Utility quad.

I agree with him there,I bought a utility quad and in a year I got rid if it and got a sport quad. But now I want to get rid of the sport quad for a side by side. Did a 65 mile run with friends that all had Rhinos and now I want one instead of my quad. Don

nah i was just saying that b/c i know it would be fine in the dunes, but the reality of me hauling to the dunes every weekend instead of going local is pretty slim. so i think a utility quad would be better, was just hoping someone had some personal experience with the wolverine.

I bought one last year for my wife, with paddles on rear it will go almost anywhere at glamis except up china wall.took it mile marker 11 off of carfree hwy. and got back up some of those washes and my wife was walking it over some pretty good boulders with no problem.

Yes! A new 700r. I have a 660 and love it. Only trail rides for me. Never been to the dunes. I've ridden to crown king, sunflower mine loop, tip top, and many others. Tires and Skids are very important.

The key is to ride with guys who have ute's and they can carry your stuff. A quick blast on the raptor is all they ever ask in return:D
