...and do they live in the east valley? I was coming home from work about 40 mins ago and saw one that looked like his... complete with what looked like the flower pot (although I was looking as I drove past so it could have been a conventional snorkel). Anyway, he AZVJC stickers on the side and was on the side of the road with a car that looked like it had tire tracks down the side of his paint job (from being sideswiped). I'm wondering if this was in fact his rig and what happened. :o Oh it was on Williamsfield the first (residential) street east of Cooper.

So does he live around the east valley? It's possible it wasn't the same Jeep as I was driving by.... I went to turn around and at the last minute decided not to as it would have probably been lame for me to show up to rubberneck.... and point out just how unlucky of a Jeep he had.

Okay, then that's not it. I thought it was blue but his avatar has it as red. Anyone else have a Blue TJ with a snorkel that at 50mph looked like it was a clone of Frenchy's?

Hey who stole my idea! Baaaa j/k, it'd be cool to have a flower pot jeep fashion named after me:D

I recently saw Frenchy's old Jeep for sale on Craigslist, probably by Bajatoy...
Guess it didn't work out for him.

Yep, that was you... your snorkel looked a bit different when passing it at 60mph. So how did it go? Was the guy pissed at you or did he apologize and exchange info? I'd imagine there was no damage to your vehicle as it looked like there were just tire marks on his...although I couldn't actually see your passenger side.

Do you live back in there? I'm about a mile from you and HighlandRubicon is about a half mile from you.

no, no damage to the Jeep, he just bounced off the tires :) thats the second time someone has just bounced off my tires.
That snorkel is actually pretty tough, I'vedran into a few large tree branches, tree lost, laid the Jeep on it side on Last Crusade and it just scratched it. Its a pretty quality piece of plastic.

eh no one was pissed, yeah I live back in there. There is preexisting damage to my passenger fender where lets just say I accidentally found a tree at Charlouge Gap. (I probably messed up that spelling)

I know the feeling. I had a car try to hurry pass me on a merging lane and all of a sudden I felt the tires hit something. He kept going and my tire was fine but his white cavalier had a nice imprint of a 35in tire in the door.

That's Chris Kriegs old Jeep....that is one decked out Jeep...lots of upgrades and toys on it.

yep that's Chris's old Jeep (sort of, I've kinda made some changes).....I kinda stripped some stuff out recently when I did the coil overs.......he had too many red wires, omg if I see another red wire in my life I might kill someone. (mainly just stripped out the rancho rs9000 system and the towing air bags didn't need that with the coil overs) but I love the dana 300 twin stick with the 4:1 he put in there.....its freakin awesome :-) oh but the dana 30hp is gone (sort of bent that jumping it at Glamis...ooops), replaced with a 9"/44 hybrid packed with 4.88s and an ARB. The internals and hubs for the 30 went into my brother's ZJ and so did the down east high steering. The rear 44 got 33 spline USAlloy shafts and a detroit. It runs 37" IROKS nicely now :) and the OBA is just freakin sweet. I also put in a new CB and a new deck (like that matters), one of these days I'll finish the rock lights, but that's after the flat fenders get done.
