Well I just got back from my tour in Iraq and its time to get my jeep rolling again. I am looking into a long arm kit, I already have an SYE and Drivshaft ready to go. I am looking for advise as to what Long Arm Kit I should get and would anyone be willing to help on the install. Pizza and beer is on me. Dont have a lot of cash so i am trying to find a god deal if anyone knows of anybody selling a used kit or something i copuld peice together. I am heading back for my next tour on the 15th of may training the new soldiers heading overseas and was hoping to get my suspension done so i could take my jeep with me. Any help would be great. Thanx

Your profile lists that you have a TJ. What year is it? Rubicon or not?

I'm game to help install a lift/other mods.

As for what to get...if you want a great lift in the short arm flavor, check out Rubicon Express superflex kits and Old Man Emu lifts (this is what I run). No idea what your budget is like...but long arm kits are much more pricey.

Generally speaking, three names stand out at the top of the list when long arm kits are involved. Nth Degree, Full Traction, and Rubicon Express. Long arm kits also reduce your ground clearance because of the arms and where they mount. The Nth Degree kits are the only ones I know of that address this issue.

There are a ton of guys on here that know WAY more than I do (I'm practically a novice when it comes to TJs) so I'm sure you will get lots of great information and opinions.

Hit me up when you are ready to do the install. :)

a location would help too....as well as the above listed specs to help you determine what you want to build.
