Last weekend when I ran Lower Terminator I had a problem getting it into 4 low. It poped out a few times before it HELD! I know this isn't all that uncommon in a lifted jeep. My question is "Is there an ajustment? If so, where?
I know there is some sort of bracket to fix this problem, but I wanted to try ajusting it first if possible. It just is a little hard to engage.

No adjustment as far as I know.
The rod that comes from the shift level to the t-case is solid.
the bracket is needed for this fix.

NO real adjustment other than the bolt in the next post as described, BUT:
1) INSURE your shifter is NOT touching your console, ANYWHERE. Especially true for higher lifts [beyond 3-in] as the Jeep frame will sometimes torque or twist on some of the radical obstacles where you only have 2 wheels on the ground and they are at opposite corners. This can force the shifter into the console and cause it to pop out of gear.
2) There is a small plastic washer where the shift rod fits into the lever, it is most likely either green or black in color. If this come out, crushes or get too worn it can allow the shift rod to not hold.
3) Depending upon your suspension lift/body lift combo the bracket that holds the shifter can set either too high or too low relative to the bracket on the TC case. NOTE: The brackets for WHAT EVER reason was in the engineers mind that designed this setup is attached to the BODY and to the TC case:eek:  In fact this is really the essence of the problems...what was that guy thinking:confused: You can move the body mount bracket to better align the shifter parts with the bracket on the TC by removing the 4 bolts on the TC tunnel, drilling new holes and bolting it back in. This is a TWO person job, one in the cab, one under the tunnel.
On my rig I just solved the issue by cutting off the console just in front of the cup holders.

There is adjustment bolt that holds upper rod in place. I think it is easier to put in 4 hi then adjust it since that is the only detent it has. Put in 4 hi then loosen adjustment bolt pull shifter against stop in 4 hi then tighten bolt.

I had the same issue with it popping out, but when I installed my MML and BL the problem vanished.
