I have a XJ, and would like to get a non-permanent roof rack (have 2 XJs would like to switch rack between them) I want to be able to carry camping gear and mount some lights up top. I've been researching, and there is so many brands, does anyone have good/bad comments that might help me decide? And I have brackets (female, I think the term is) with electrical hook ups under front and under back of jeep, but not actual hitch. my van has hitch with ball and would like to tow jeep behind for extended camping trips. Would I need to get something that looks like the letter A to attach to the front bracket of my jeep? I've seen this on Willys.
