HB2443 Needs our URGENT HELP!!!!!

As many of you know Senator Gould is fighting hard for his floor amendment. It will go for its third ready tomorrow and while we did make a small difference with out emails to the senators, it was very slight as we have very small numbers. We need big numbers now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight and first thing in the morning before they go into session, even if you think you are late send it in we need to be heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if you have written in response to our previous request this week, please send again, we need to get this across to the senators that we support this bill, but without the Floor Amendment proposed by Senator Gould.

I know that HB2443 has a Floor Amendment from Senator Gould. I strongly disagree with this amendment and am asking you to Pass this bill without Senator Gould's Floor Amendment.

The OHV community as a whole supports HB2443 as it stands, as long as it does not include Senator Gould's Floor Amendment. We appreciate your time and efforts in supporting the OHV community and helping us develop a bill that will enhance the OHV experience by providing law enforcement, education and rules that will foster responsible OHV use. The bill as written excluding Senator Gould's Floor Amendment will do just that. It also ensures that the outlined plan of actions costs will not come from the State General Fund, it is a program that will pay for itself.

I am requesting that you accept HB2443 as written and vote to pass it, without Senator Gould's Floor Amendment.

I will post this from the last thread. I agree with AZG23 when he says we need to send it to all. My1stJeep and Sandee have been great ambassadors to us on these issues, and now we need to step out and show that there are not just a few who care, but entire groups who feel this is an important piece of legislation that will better all in the future.

I compiled list of all the email addresses list on the link from the other thread. The best we can do is voice our opinion to our government leaders. Hopefully, many of you will take this email list and ask theses representatives to help us see this bill through.

Take the list bellow and copy and paste it into your send line. Write up a short letter like one presented on the linked forum. Help make sure that the hard work of those who have been representing our community does not go to waste.

ONLY FOR YESTERDAYS COMM. MEETING. Senator Gould is truly pushing hard for HIS amendments and this whole deal will go to third read probably next Tues. It "MIGHT" go tomorrow but if not it will hold until Tues.

We're not clear yet. I'd ask each and every OHV enthusiast to write or call his/her personal District Senator and encourage a vote in our favor. Remember, this is not about "their personal opinions" it's about US and our request and/or needs. They are suppose to be representing US. We are their constituents and they should be supporting US. The issues within this bill have been fought, argued, discussed and pulled through a wringer. We all recognize there is not 100% agreement on all of it but it is certainly within a compromise WE (everyone involved) can live with.

Several Senators have agreed to "not support new 'taxation' so this is partly where several are coming from but they need to be reminded we WANT THIS TAXATION and WE ARE PAYING FOR IT as it's FOR US.
