Howdy, all: I'm an old-timer back with a new project rig ... a TJ, God help me :D

Anyway, started stock and I'm doing a little building. Having a helluva time getting the stock sway bar links out of the bar and the stock stabilizer out of the drag link.

I've done the obvious stuff: Lots of PB Blaster, BFH, pickle fork with BFH, cutting off excess stud and crosshatching to weaken, 2-ton three-jaw puller, more BFH.

So far I've gotten one link out using the puller, which has since broken. Ideas or tips? Getting pretty frustrated and I don't have a torch. Thanks in advance.

The BFH is usually all that i used for mine..go to autozone or something and get one of the 14$ bottle tourches and try that.

Air hammer rattling on either side where the tapered item is passing through the link....

I wailed on mine with a 5 pound hammer. Took a good 12 wacks or so. They are in there tight!

Some progress. Took the 2-ton puller back and got a 5-ton. That got the second swaybar link out. Still nothing on the steering stabilizer. I put the air chisel to it and the 5-ton puller. It's possible it moved maybe 1/32 of an inch, but still not close.

I've actually spent more time on this than installing the remainder of the RE superflex kit.
