Yep thats right. Its time to move on, I got the Jeep sold this last weekend and its time to build a buggy. Since I dont have all the skills or anywhere close to start I would like to start with just a bare bones chassis. I was possibaly thinking an 85 or so Toyota and a formula chassis. Or maybe Hendrix's X chassis. I would like a chassis that is strong enough that I can play with yet affordable, in the $2000 range The X chassis is right around $2000. The Formula chassis is right around $1000 and then I just have to get a Toyota and use everything there. Give me all your input. I would like to hear it!

TIA,
Franchise Tom

Well I am definently going to go Toyota. It will be fun and cheap. I will keep my quad for hunting and stuff but just build the buggy for my project. The other thing is that it will be a street legal buggy, I will have my 2007 Tacoma the begining of June but I dont really want to be towing my buggy with that. So why not drive it. haha Im thinking probabaly formula Toyota and just run some sweet leaf springs that are flexy.

the hendrix is a nice chassis if it works for you. i was looking at them a while back but have decided to build my own chassis based off the frame i have right now. but im also a fabricator and i have all the equipment to do it and i like my stuff different then others. toy stuff is good stuff.

This isn't Nick's rig. His is a truggy 'yota. The X-chassis we have is for a different customer and has a 4.3L Vortec stuffed into it (designed for a 'yota engine  )
But you're welcome to come down any day we're open and take a look. Even give us a call on Saturday and see if we're hanging around... typically working on our own junk if we feel the urge on Saturdays.
