 Wow
The Mobil On The Run down the street from me is surrounded by police tape and news crews after someone came in at about 8 last night and started injecting candy and food with something from a syringe.
The place is tighter than a bugs butt right now thanks to this.
This is the station I frequent most for fuel and such, as it's the closest to my house.
I hope they catch the sob and inject him with something!

Mesa police are investigating reports of food tampering at an East Mesa convenience store.

A clerk told police that someone entered a Mobil On the Run store at Signal Butte Road and Southern Avenue at about 8 p.m. Tuesday night and started injecting candy bars and other food items with a syringe.

Police said it was unknown what substance was injected into the food and they urging anyone who bought items after 7 p.m on Tuesday to bring them to the police department for inspection at 130 N. Robson St.

The store is located at 1153 S. Signal Butte Rd. The clerk called police this morning. The store is closed while police investigate. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (480) 644-2211.

If this happened last night why did they wait until this morning to call

Northeast corner of Signal Butte and Southern. It was just on the news and is in the Cox Channel 14 loop.

Desert Rat... you told me all about it, but I had repressed the memory until just now. LOL

Glens dead cause you know if he bought a candy bar at 8pm it was gone by the time he got to the jeep outside :D

Now see... that is funny in more ways than a few.
the best is that my Jeep is sitting on its floorpan next to the shop, with the frame sitting right next to it.
The correct phrase would have been:
(I am) dead cause you know if (I) bought a candy bar at 8pm it was gone by the time (I) got to the quad cab, dually, Cummins-powered Ram 3500 SLT Sport outside :D

Honestly, though, I don't eat a lot of candy :shoulder_shrug: I prefer sodas and energy drinks. :hyper "WOOHOO!!!":

It is pretty messed up, though.

Convenience store food is poison anyway, so can they really charge the guy for tampering with it? Maybe he was injecting nutrients...

I believe he is reffering to the other Glen, the one that spells his name the lazy way with only 1 n. I doubt he was reffering to the cool Glenns on this board that spell our name correctly and don't forget the extra N. :D

I could go even further in to detail if you'd like. LOL i could tell you about the shimmy at 75 thanks to expansion joints, or the fact that my brakes are warped thanks to Discount's crappy torque procedures.

Besides, I typically just hand the wrapper to the clerk to ring up and throw away. they don't even make it out of the aisle.
