We always have to wait until early April to file due to the wife's K1 info we don't receive until then. So we get everything done, wait for that, then file.
As usual, we get a minimal federal refund and owe the star a few bucks (meaning we've got our claims pretty accturate and get to keep/invest our own money instead of letting uncle sam use it all year).

We're in a similar boat, but since we are the corporation, we can get our financials audited and signed really fast, typically by week 2 of January. then we file and get a small return on both sides, simply because I HATE paying taxes at the beginning of the year.
Additionally, our K1 info is moot, as any dividends or other profits from shares goes into a tax-sheltered trust that we can't access easily enough. We typically just ammend the returns, if needed, due to K1's (we have stock in 12 or so companies).
