This is Max:

He's just been rescued from a shelter after being found roaming around the canal area by my friend's security company. He was due to be put down but they opted to save him.

He's recently been neutered and is going in for his second set of shots next week.

He seems to need a yard and may not do well around other dogs as the doctor the Humane Society uses said he's been in lots of fights before. My friend thought she could handle this dog but he does need a little training so he doesn't attack socks or decorative home items. We did try and introduce him to my cat but he got scared of her so I do not know how he'll do around cats either.

He'd be a good family dog though as around people, he's as sweet as can be.

If you have any questions or know anyone that may want a pup, please let me know.

He's pretty but just isn't good for an apartment right now and my friend just doesn't have the time to train him like he should be. I tried to convince her to do training as a dog that is obedient for the most part should be too difficult to do but she just doesn't have the time.

Interested... How old is the dog? Any idea of the breed(s)?

Gary,

I believe the dog is 2 or 3 and his papers say German Shepard and Aussie Shepard mix but they thought he was a Cattle dog. His tail is bobbed.

I'll get more info from my friend tonight and get back to this post later. She comes home around 10pm. :)

Sorry Gary, it looks as if the dog is good to go with a family already.
