Looking for some company to run Willow Springs on 4-07-07 or 4-8-07. I'm open to other east side ideas.:)

I just checked my permit and it expired in October, I will try and get it renewed tomorrow.

I saw your jeep at Hunter's yesterdy when John gave me the tour of his shop. Getting a front bumper and tube fenders made? :)

Sorry about not responding sooner.....Lance, wanted to do a shake down run closer to home (just in case). JD Yes, 4.5" RK (Desert Fab). Ben, Hatch 0800 at the gate both days. Let me know.

Dan and I were out there today and Dan is planning on hitting it again tomorrow. Be at the gate at 8am. Dan may post up again but he told me that he was running Willow Springs again on Sunday.

My camera was out of batteries, but I took quite a few with Dan's camera. Mike, Dan is going to have to confess something to you and unfortunately the camera was out of focus so I have no evidence.

The RK long arm setup is very nice. We twisted his rig every way possible and it performed solidly. He got the rear truss and eliminated his track bar. I think he is really happy with the setup. Todd at Desert Fab did a great job for him. Hopefully we will see you there next time.

ok, we talking the willow springs lake? and what gate?

sorry , I haven't been wheelin there yet. been exploring up there, found some nice sandstone slabs some one cut out of quarry

Willow Springs is east of Apache Junction. The trailhead is off the Apache Trail approximately 5 miles west of Canyon lake. It is part of, but separate from the Bulldog Canyon trail system and requires a permit. The permit is free and can only be obtained from the Tonto NF Mesa district office.

The trail can be as easy or as hard as you want. For more info check this thread out.

Had a great day!! Thanks, Tom, for coming out. The RK suspension worked great....I put it thru a pretty good work out. No carnage, just scratches. Yes Mike I had to be helped about a foot or so. I didn't need the TP like someone I Know.
The run for Sunday is cancelled due to lack of intrest. Looking forward to the next run.
