I'm going to install CJ turn signal lights on my TJ. The CJ lights have two wires and the TJ has three. Should I just wire them up to my side marker lights that also have two wires or what?

well the newer tjs have three wires... because on is ground... on cj lights.. the ground is provided through the housing... one wire is for running lamps.. and other is for turn

I'm not too sure about that third wire being a ground. I've tried grounding it, splicing it into either of the other two hot wires and leaving it capped off. There was no change, regardless of what I tried. Everything works fine, except that when I turn the headlights on, the turn signal indicators on the dash light up. I can only assume I'm doing something wrong. I've heard of others having this issue but have yet to find a solution.
