Bestop makes a Sailcloth Replace-a-top. Much thicker material. We stock it.:)

X3 on Bestop, Sailcloth.
BUT if you really want to quite it down and at the same time keep things a LOT cooler, try this: http://web.mac.com/donpryor/iWeb/SavageSun%204x4/Camo%20liner%20for%20Jeep%20Top,.html

The quietest...
The one that's on the Jeep when it's sitting still.

I made a headliner for my tj when I still ran the full top. Took a piece of cardboard and glued carpet pad to it and stuck it between the rollcage and the top. Made a huge difference. Kind of a pain if you want to take your top down somewhere, you would need to leave it at home...

Sailcloth is the way to go. My 2003 had one and it was nice and quite. The top on my old 97 and my new 05 are considerably louder than the sailcloth that I had on the 03
