View Full Version : URGENT Help needed to Prepare for the Expo

For the expo they have an small area with a dirt hill that they would like us to alter and use as an demo area for the expo this weekend. However I had some help lined up, but they had to cancel. So I am in urgent need of some assistance tomorrow afternoon to get this thing altered and ready for the weekend expo. Is there anyone that can volunteer some time tomorrow afternoon and help me out?

I am pretty open, I am waiting for a call back from Game & Fish to see just how late that they will let us work on it. I know the guy will be there starting at 8:00am, and some of it will depend on when they can operate the water truck. After we get it set to make it better and less dusty we will water the hill down and run over it to pack it down.

Let me know what time you can do it and we will make it work.

Ill do my best to make it by 10am. Ive got to drop the woman off at work then head up there. This is at Ben Avery that youre needing the help right?

Chris I tried to line up some help for you and hit all my sources for computers and possibly a vender to come out but everyone is ALWAYS too busy. I'm working and my sick leave is dwindling. If I can give away a trip on Sunday I'll get out to help nut it doesn't look to promising. No one else wants it for the same reason I don't, it is a terrible trip to fly on a weekend.

Yes it is at the Ben Avery Range. I won't be able to make it out until the afternoon, but might be able to meet you out there earlier if you need and you can get started on the transformation. Give me a call and we will work it out.

It will mostly be moving dirt around, putting water on it and then driving over it to pack it down. We will have the Game & Fish water truck to use to appy the water.

Just checked my schedule, I might be able to do it earlier if that is a better time for everyone.

No problem, thanks for trying. Next year I will try to head it up from the get go so we have a better timeline to organize and prepare.

I need to know what is going on by the 13th of the month prior so I can bid my schedule accordingly. I don't get too many weekends off but that means I get to go to most of the weekday land meetings though.

Man I wish I didn't have all this training, work stuff and the family stuff to do. I have a tractor with a loader on it that probably would have worked for this.

Ok, now to throw another wrench in the works. Just got a call to come in for an interview for a job and they want me in there today. So now I am really getting desperate. Is there anyone that can do it today? How about tomorrow? HELP?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Well so far I have had offers if we can make it work from two members, yes I know it was last minute, but with all these people I know there are more out there than 2 that can try to help. I hope this does not turn into a 1 man show as that will surely fail and OHV will not end up looking good.

I can try to be there for my lunch HOUR around then.....?? It aint much..but all I can offer....I can drive over dirt..Im experienced..:D

If you still need help for tomorrow, i can help as much as you need. I am stuck in a office baically 6 to 6 M-F or i'd be there today. Let me know if you need help still and if tomorrow works. Early or late, it doesn't matter.

We could use some help. If you want to park your rig in the area it would hav eto stay from 8:00am to 5:00pm, or if you want to come out and help us distribute stuff any hours during the day would be great!!!!!!!!!!


HUGE THANKS to Jack (macinyart) from coming out today and helping out to get the hill ready. Also the Game & Fish guys for moving the rocks and giving us a nice little rock pile to crawl over.
