Dunno about the job - but the weekday trips are killing me too - I have to sit in a series of three meetings all day - and I could care less about the topic in all three, and have to bring my own lunch too...then right back to the same room Saturday until noonish.

Worse - I live 10 minutes from the airdown spot, and I have yet to make it to a White Tanks run. I tried Jeep Appetizer when the Jeep was stock, but haven't been back since (I didn't get over the rock either...)

Met Brad this am on Watson, we were both early. Just saying that for all the guys that waited for me on previous trips.
This really wasn't a Jeep run because Brad doesn't really have a Jeep. It's one of those virtual Jeeps:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2878.jpg?t=1175292784

I'm used to being the little Jeep, but this was ridiculous!
We did Tie rod wash to warm up, I had a "squeaky toy" shock (new Rancho 9000x) that bugged me for a while, but it quieted down by the time we got to Firebird.
Rolled right through Firebird, even found a few optional obstacles for Brad's rig:

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2890.jpg?t=1175293153

Here he is coming out of Firebird:

Yeah, he just drives over the rocks that give me grief!
We walked up Ruler, that is some gnarly trail, decided not to run it. (yeah, right)
Next on the list was Scorpion, I gave it a shot, as usual I was denied. It has been stacked really bad, as you can see in these pic's:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2896.jpg?t=1175293518

Even with it stacked, I couldn't make it. I just moved a few rocks around with this attempt:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2899.jpg?t=1175293691

Brad didn't even try the "Jeep" line over on the left, he just squared up on the 5' wall and started up:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2900.jpg?t=1175293867

Got the front up no problem, but couldn't get the rears to hook up on that undercut ledge:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2903.jpg?t=1175294011

He moved over to the right, and I will post more pic's shortly.

That ledge doesn't even look steep in the photo...it just needed more throttle :o

He had the same problem when he moved over until he found some front end traction:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2904.jpg?t=1175294645

after spinning for a while, the rears hooked up, and with a little skinny pedal, up he came!:

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2906.jpg?t=1175294886

The upper ledge was almost the same, just a little easier:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2908.jpg?t=1175295021

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2909.jpg?t=1175295142

I'm glad I could find something that would give his rig a workout. We ran down lower Scorpion to Turtle falls, got some pucker there, now I know how Mike Varne felt that night!
As usual, these pic's don't show the vertical very well:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2912.jpg?t=1175295531

http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2914.jpg?t=1175295628

You know you're in deep when all you can see out the windshield is a sandy wash!
The hole that is eating his big Swamper almost ate my whole Jeep:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y126/allands/IMG_2915.jpg?t=1175295730

All in all, a good day of wheelin', we didn't see anybody until we parked on top of the big dirt pile back by the houses.
Great wheelin' with you Brad, hope you enjoy the pic's. Have a good time while you are down here in the desert. :)

I'm saving them for the World Extreme Mall Crawling Nationals next week! :D
They're way too purdy to wheel in the dirt...

Did you get the XL HY-Lift to match the XL tube flares? :)

I don't think I could show that much restraint and not put those wheels and tires on immediately.

They were put on immediately, I drove them home from 4 Wheelers a week ago Friday. Couldn't get into 6th gear so I took them off for wheeling this weekend. Wednesday I will be back in the shop for 4:88 gears and alloy axles. It shouldn't take me long to get everything broken in, then we will see....
Oh, and as to my last post, remember what today is. ;)

Don't think I will make it out today, I'm wrenching on the Jeep. Got my new synthetic winch line in, and need to put the big wheels back on. They have my axles in at 4 Wheelers, so it's gears and axles tomorrow! I think I can probably break in everything this weekend, so I will be good to go if you have anything planned for next week...

Oh yeah, the Mall crawling comment post was on April 1st.....
