I had a good time today! This was the first time I've been to one. I think I'm hooked!:D I was hoping to see Todd run today so I could cheer him on but didn't get a chance. Maybe next time. I did get to see Jamie, Hackle and Jeff in action though. Good job guys!

DD,

Good seeing you too. :) Glad you stuck around for the shootout action, I too got some great pics which I'll post up probably tomorrow.

Since I was on the "C" course this time, I didn't get much chance to walk around and see the locals running but I did get a few of Todd's partner in crime in the Pro Mod shootout.

Lil' is a sick, sick, man I tell you. :D

I don't even think that I saw one spectator all day way back in the dungeon they called A3. I had a blast and I just wanted to tell Rachel and Lil they did a great job again!!! I had a blast and all of the guys in the Pro Mod class are awesome. The shootout course for both the Unlimited Class and Pro Mods were sick  The drop on the Pro Mod for the bonus line and the climb at the top of the hill for the Unlimited Guys were about as demented :D as lil ever gets.

I was glad to see everyone at the event we had a good turn out and from what I got to see it should have kept most people interested. I had a lot of fun at the event I enjoy judging the courses and got a pretty good one. I also was a judge on the unlimited shootout. That was even hard to find a safe place to judge from. Little Rich was creative on both shootout courses. All in all a great weekend.

Stoked to hear everyone that went had a good time. The weather was perfect (for AZ), and the comp was full of action. Three fires, about 15 roll overs, and tons of phenomenal saves! The scores were pretty tight, keeping the tension on. Shannon Campbell won by 2 points:eek: !

A special thanks goes out to many AZVJC folk

Jeff Stewart for judging and recovery. Many comments were made on your jeep as you came down with all the course cones/delineators. And I could hear your calls down the dang-o hill! That's my boy!

Travis- Great judging as usual. You sure know how to get the crowd going. Sure gets the adrenaline pumping for the competitors on the Shoot Out!

Hackle- Some good rolls and carnage on your course. Nice job keeping the pace going. You had the first fire of the day on your course. I'm glad I put you on A4 so I didn't have to go over there much. I never have to worry about you.

Jamie- Thanks for switching gears last minute. Great job on a crazy course.

Mark (blooddrive)- Your first event and you were Primary on Sunday. Nicely done! Thanks for stepping up. Hope to see you out there again.

Steve James- You are always a tremendous asset to the We-Rock events. You and your wife keep the flow going like I've never seen before. Then jumping right into judging on Sunday, I owe you one big time! Thanks a bunch!

Denise- As always, thank you so much for all that you do. Staging, scores, etc. You really make a big difference.

RD and woman- Also stepping into a judging position from scratch, you did a fantastic job as well. Hope you had a good time this weekend. I know you didn't get to see many other courses, but you sure did get up close and personal to the rigs on your course!

Jeff and Vivian- Thanks so much for all of your help on Sat. Hope your toe nail grows back soon. I knew those high lifts were dangerous!! ;)

Thanks again to all those who helped out from VJC! We couldn't have done it without you. The competitors really love to see the same faces out there. They know they can trust you and your decisions. And you make my job a whole lot easier too! :p So now we'll have to wait till next year for another local event. :( I'll try to post pics of other events to avoid too much withdrawl.

See ya'll out on the trails soon!

Rachel

The jeep with tracks is used by a communication company that has a tower at the top for the Pinals (about 7000'). It drove by with ease as Tom Hatch and I tried to make it to the top with our jeeps in a foot and a half of snow.

I had a great time on Saturday. I brought my 12 year old nephew who was about beside himself while we were there. He has missed the previous ones because of illness, so this was his first year out there. He's hooked!
Great event as always!

Probably the best event I have been to. Great driving, great rolls and saves, super tight comp and the unlimited shoot out was outstanding with the local boys showing it up!! Some great pics as well.

I drove like crap, just hit to many cones!! Finished 15th :( But our other buggy driven by Terry finished 6th:D

On a good note, My buggy worked great, the Copper Tires hooked up real good. I just need to make some adjustments with the cutting brakes. I have 2 months before we head to Washington for the next one to make some changes to the rig.

Hey Todd missed saying hi at the event... Unlimiteds are moving these days, I don't think we waited more then two vehicles on any course..

See you in Seattle.

And thanks to everyone from Arizona who came out and helped.. someone has to keep Rachel on her toes.
