So I emailed them last week on my d30 cover (or lack thereof). I figured I had my axle physically removed from my Jeep so now was a good time to ask about my d30 cover. :D Keep in mind I don't *need* this cover which is why I've put up with this so long. In fact with my bent Currie tierod I probably wouldn't be able to clear the Rockcrusher cover until I straighten it (the Rock Halo just barely rubs at full lock). So before you say, "you should buy it from company X"... I just wanted to point out that it's so comedic I'm just going to wait and see how long it eventually takes. :D

I sent them an email stating "it's been over 9 months now since I placed my initial order". It's been a bit over a week and he replies with:

Mike, The 30's and 35's are being manufactured now, we just have to finish machining and they will be on there way. We will post on our web page www.rockcrusherdiffs.com in 3weeks all ETA's for our product.

Regards

So if I'm straight.... in 3 more weeks then he can give me an ETA on how much longer it will be? :D :D Oh, and that website doesn't work.

Anyone want dibs on this cover? Because by the time I get it I'll be running Prorock 60's front/rear so it will no longer be needed. :p

Mike I understand what your doing and all. But why haven't you got it yet?
OH! That's right, it's a D30 your waiting on. I got my D44 last August from
those guys.
I think if I was them, I would have waited until I had all those covers in hand
before advertising to sell them.:)

I think you need to tell them where to put it and buy one from Todd at Desert Fab those things are stout.

I imagine you are talking about ordering from Mad4wd. If so, I called today about my D30 cover because I need to change my gear fluid and I have been waiting for the cover. I got the D44 cover in December. I was told that the covers had been machined and where on their way to the US. The guy I spoke to did not know when exactly. I was told to call back tomorrow between 9 and 4 o'clock eastern time and speak to Grant, because he is the owner of Rock Crusher, and I should be able to get a better estimation.

I am surprised you got a response through email. I have emailed them three times and never got a response.

What can I say, I have pull. If I didn't have pull I wouldn't have gotten my cover after 9 months... wait, I haven't gotten my cover yet. :D :D

Yeah, they are stout. I'm a big Crane fan myself (have one on the back) so if I were spending much more than the Rock Crusher ones I'd probably just put on a Crane.

When the price on the rockcrushers jumped down, everyone was ordering from mad4wd, I ordered mine from Northridge, and had them in about a week, for a total of $10 more then mad4wd, but no wait. The only down side was that they sent me a d30 and a d44, instead of 2 d44's, called them up and they had the man in brown come over to pick up the d30 and sent me another d44. And all of this in less time then most others.
I will say I did have one issue with both covers not having the bolt holes line up completely. So I had to enlarge some of them, got them on and have liked them since.

Still waiting on mine. No rush. Mad4wd is a good no-bs company with excellent customer service. It's well worth the wait. :D

On a wheeling trip before last I wasn't paying attention and I solidly hit my d30 Halo on a rock. So solid that I made an audible grunt and was instantly stopped in my tracks. Both times were crawling at a decent speed. My rock halo is still holding up perfectly. I've been as impressed with it as I've been impressed with just about anything else I have.

...and Dave, I wasn't aware that you carried them...that's good to know. At this rate I may build a junky yard front d60 and hold off for a new cover then. I haven't fully decided yet. I'm as wishy washy as John Kerry at times. :D
