I have a dumb question. I am new to the offroad scene and am looking for some trails out in my neck of the woods. I have a stock (for now) 95 xj and am looking to take my kids out on the weekend and have some fun. This is my daily driver but would like to have a little bit of a challange for what I have and be able to make it home in one peice. I live out near the florence junction area so if anybody has any advice for me please let me know. Also I saw the posting for Montana mountain which looks really cool, is anybody planning on taking a trip up there anytime soon I would love to join you

with a stock jeep you can run Box Canyon and then out Martinez to the Cabin... both quite enjoyable to the new jeep driver! Both ar out in FJ and can be reached from the price road entrance, the cottonwood entrance, or the entrance from the Hwy 60.

I'm in Queen Creek too!! By the new Sonic Drive-In!

Thank you, now a little help with that. From Arizona Farms road and hiway 79 where would I go to get there? You live pretty close to me, I live east of skyline and quail run.

AZ farms and 79 is bout 1/2 way between cottonwood and price rds. 4 miles north to cottonwood and 4 miles south to price. better to run box from price.

Bull Dog Canyon is a great trail for a stocker, not too far away either.
Montana mountain is very scenic, but not much more than a dirt rd. I would compare it to Four Peaks rd.
FR4 takes you from superior to the ajax mine, then you could head out cottonwood canyon rd or Box canyon to price.
Also, Battleaxe/walnut canyon which is south of superior.
Both of the last 2 would be good for a stocker as well.

Just don't go alone, let someone know where you will be, and take plenty of water, first aid kit and a cellphone.
