Meet at the Shell Station in Fountain Hills at 9am. Head out at 9:30.

Is this the trail that runs between Bushnell Tanks and Roosevelt? Because if it is good luck getting through the gates. I tried the gate two weeks ago and they were doubled locked.

Will have to cancel this trip - Reno Pass, Trail #42: Reno Pass is closed from the Highway 87 entrance near Sunflower due to a forest fire over a year ago. The Mesa Ranger District is not sure when it will re-open. They are waiting for vegetation to grow back. You can access Reno Pass from the Punkin Center side off Highway 188 but eventually will run into the closed area. For more information, contact the Mesa Ranger District at 480-610-3300.

Sorry - I guess I'll go to the Air Show instead...
