If any one is interested, I have a couple of cars to paint. If you want to learn how to prep/paint let me know.
March 31st I will be painting a silver Mercedes at Luke AFB. They have a great paint booth out there I like to use.
I have a black ford truck that needs the front end painted also.
Finally I will be doing a color change on my YJ.
So if any one is interested in learning, just let me know.
Here is my email james@IfIfItsGotWheels.com

James,
I am interested in learning a bit here... Painting has always seemed like a daunting task to me. I wouldn't mind learning a few tips and tricks.

I'd rather just pay you to paint mine. :D I need all 4 fenders painted, I even have the paint.
I'm sure it will help me to see the process firsthand, but Saturdays won't work for me until the end of April.

desertx04, what type of paint? base/clear or single stage, and brand please. And you have two jeeps? Jeeps only have two fenders, the front ones. The rear wheel well areas are called quarter panels. but yes if you need them painted I could easily schedule you in.
danno, if you wanna learn a few things, no probs, I can help ya!
I will be making a do it yourself no gimmicks, no glory, type of a paint your ride 101 on my website forum. I know there have been several in magazines, but they still make painting out to be some scientific experiments of you have to have every measurement perfect to the "t" -when in fact it’s not that hard at all.
If you want to see some of the things I have painted/repaired, please look at my website, both under pics, and forum ( IfItsGotWheels.com )
I will be at Luke on the 31st at 0830, booth opens at 0900. Need more info, please ask.

lol. Just one Jeep, I was thinking all 4 corners. I installed PSC tube fenders and crusher corners and am going to paint them white to match the factory paint. Last August I bought the paint, I think it is base/clear, two cans you mix together, I'll have to check again as to what I have. My air compressor was stolen two days later, so that stopped things for the time being. After tax day I plan on putting the time in and getting it finished. I just wonder if the paint is still good? I'd like to do it myself, but I don't think I have the patience to make it look professional. I'll keep you in mind and check back in a few weeks. Thanks.

Just remember that anyone wishing to gain access to Luke that is not Military will need to be escorted by a military member. Be it active, guard, reserve, or retired. Not trying to hi-jack just making sure you don't try to just show up and get the axe from the guys at the gate.

I would like to hire some one to paint the hood on my Blue XJ. Can any one suggest a place or person?
