May 12 - Flagstaff area

KOA Campgrounds is offering a free night of camping on Saturday, May 12, if you pay for Friday, May 11. My wife and I took advantage of this offer a couple of years ago. We have already made reservations to spend Frisay and Saturday at the KOA in Flagstaff this year as well. Just wanted to et everyone here know as it makes getting out of Phoenix in the summer a little more affordable.

Looking to see if anyone else might want to meet up there, and do some runs on Saturday, May 12th.

there isnt much up here in flag to run, as far as I know... there is the Cinders Hills OHV park..... not rocks of the sort but lots of hills and what not...

but sedona is just a hop skip and a jump away for some easy trails like broken arrow.
then there is harder trails like Smasher Canyon, Brutal Canyon, Smiley Rock.

I love the Cinders, wish I could just pack up and go up there. I'm probably the laziest person in existence.

That's my B-day so I might try and get up that way for the two days. Won't know until it's closer though.

actually not many on the board from the valley hate to drive from the west to the east and visa versa to wheel.
