Hey gang,
I have been tossing around the idea of doing a spring over on my yj.I
have a question or three for the SOA group.1) what is the best spring
pack to run,the 2.5 rancho or the stock yj spring pack.2) Does the
spring pack have to be front and rear or can you do rear all the way
around.3)Did you leave the shock mount in the stock position on the
axles or did you move them to the top of the axles? What stering mod
did you do to keep the drag link from rubbing againts the spring?I
saw an SOA at 4 wheelers the other day that had is drag link almost

Hi there,
I am going to install my JB SYE kit on Saturday. I was hoping to
get a volunteer or two to help with the install that has done it
before. I will supply the lunch and beer after. I was hoping to do
it in the morning, so I can measure it and get the driveshaft from
Dick's as well. They told me they could make it in a couple hours if
they didn't already have one that size.
Thanks in advance!

Subject: FJ non-event
Just wanted to let any ARC guys on the list know that we appreciated the
non-event out at FJ this last weekend. Had a blast.
Couple of guys really did some tough wheeling. Don't know his name but a guy
in a red YJ with 35's really put on a show on one obstacle. No fear what so
ever.
Sharky was the only TJ owner with the nads to run (neither did I.;-),
steering mount cracked) He had the best time on the first obstacle and
second on points. The second is a rock wall that no one until recently had
considered even doing as an obstacle. Several of the built rigs timed out on
it. Sharky gave it all he had and damn near got on top. Then the 35c did
what it is designed to and broke...;-) Spit both springs out and snapped
both shokes..end of run..
Mike A. was spotting (did a good job) and needs to add a few pounds. He was
nearly launched across the wash..Good job Sharky and Mike.
We can do some more of these....

Hey gang,
I have been tossing around the idea of doing a spring over on my yj.I
have a question or three for the SOA group.1) what is the best spring
pack to run,the 2.5 rancho or the stock yj spring pack.2) Does the
spring pack have to be front and rear or can you do rear all the way
around.3)Did you leave the shock mount in the stock position on the
axles or did you move them to the top of the axles? What stering mod
did you do to keep the drag link from rubbing againts the spring?I
saw an SOA at 4 wheelers the other day that had is drag link almost
shaved off by the spring.5)what type of anti-wrap are you using for
the rear axle.
Thanks,

Subject: Wrenching Party JB SYE Install In a 99 TJ
Hi there,
I am going to install my JB SYE kit on Saturday.
