My A/C on my TJ isn't working. Traced the problem to 2 areas. 1. The low pressure switch is not making up so it is either broken or low on refrigerant?
2. The clutch will only engage intemitantly. I can see it move a little like it wants to engage but doesn't always do so.
My question is how much for a check over to see what the problem is with ref. or switch problem , and how much could it cost to replace the clutch. Thanks,
Bill

Joe, I would like to sell my A/C. It's out of a 97 TJ with 50,000 miles. I won't ever have a top on my Jeep again so this needs to go. Thanks for any help. Lee

Lee, Why would you want to do that???? I dont run a top on my TJ either, but My A/C still blows nice 30 degree air on the trail. Its nice to have a chilly breeze when its hot out.

Will you do r-12 to 134 conversions?
I have 2 jeeps
91 - R12AC works and blows cold
94 - R12 AC blows warm so may be a leak...need to change out the heater core which i have.....
Can you send me a pm how much these cost?
